As Care home manager, you will have responsibility for all managerial aspects of the home; with your top priority being to focus on ensuring the best standards of care are maintained, exceeding CQC and other regulatory bodies’ expectations. You will motivate your team to deliver outstanding service in accordance with all legislation, ensuring the needs of every service users is being met.

The Role:
• Overall management of the home
• Promote and maintain a high standard of nursing care
• To ensure effective induction of all staff, together with clinical supervision of trained staff, mentorship and assessment of student nurses and induction of new care staff.
• To work within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct
• Provide inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and oversee the delivery of high quality care.
• Conform to the latest guidelines, maintain the highest levels of clinical governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures.
• To maintain occupancy levels within the service

Skills/ Qualifications:

• Elderly / Dementia experience
• Possess good, strong leadership skills and works well as part of a team.
• Experience as a Registered Manager within the care sector
• Minimum of 2 years as a Registered manager
• CQC legislation knowledge
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
