Position: Interim Care Home Administrator
Salary: £10 p/h
Hours : Monday to Friday 10am until 2pm
Amber Mace are currently recruiting for a Care Home Administrator at an elderly care home in Shropshire. This role is key to the inner workings of the care home, you are not just an administrator you will be involved in every aspect of the day to day function of the home. Your main duties will include greeting visitors to the home, answering the phone, payroll, recruitment and providing general administrative and clerical support for the Home.
As the Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for most visitors and guests to the home, so it is important that you are able to give a warm and welcoming impression to those visiting for the first time.
Our ideal candidate who will be someone who is passionate about the care industry, and providing a warm-hearted environment for our elderly residents, making it a home away from home.
Duties of the Administrator:
Answering the phone and dealing with enquiries via email
Been the direct point of contact with the Head Office, and handle payroll, annual leave, recruitment (including new starters and DBS checks) & other clerical support
Greeting visitors, local authorities and inspectors etc.
Liaising with residents & their families, local authorities and other external parties
Required skills/experience of the Administrator:
Excellent phone manner
Care home/ healthcare admin
Experience with Maxtime system
Answering calls /make appointments
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to use own initiative, and prioritise
Computer literate Microsoft office
Friendly and outgoing
Experience in a similar role ESSENTIAL
