Have you got a naturally caring and empathetic personality? Leanne at Amber Mace is currently recruiting for Domiciliary Care Assistants to work on a 1:1 basis caring for clients with advanced dementia.
My client, a well-established care provider that pride themselves on providing the highest possible standard of care to their residents and helping their service users to live independently without sacrificing the quality of their care.
You will be joining a SUPPORTIVE and CARING team, who put first class care at the heart of everything they do. This is a small local company who offer exceptional care to those living with advanced dementia, therefore experience of working with dementia care is essential.

The key responsibilities of our Care Assistants include:
• Provide an exceptional standard of individual care and personal care to residents at all times
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Possess high regard for personal safety of the client
• Knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work legislation; in particular in the moving and handling of residents and fire safety/evacuation procedures
• Willing to further professional development by participating in appraisals and team meetings and training
• Adhere to all company and local policies/procedures

Qualifications/Experience Required:
• Experience with caring for the elderly and those living with dementia is essential
• NVQ in Health & Social Care level 2/3
• Must hold driving license and have own car
