Position: Deputy Residential Manager
Location: Grimsby
Salary: £25k +
Hours: Full time 44 hours

This fantastic care home is dedicated to providing the highest levels of care, tailored to suit individual needs, ensuring dignity and respect, and allowing residents to enjoy life to the fullest. With the support of an experienced manager alongside you, you will work in partnership to ensure the day-to-day running of the service is outstanding and that the best level of care is provided at all times to residents. The home is small and conveniently placed as it is on several local bus routes.

The Role:
• Support and deputise for the Home Manager in their absence
• Assist the delegation of workloads and nursing resources
• Ensure accurate care records are kept and incidents/accidents are reported in accordance to the company policy
• Promote and maintain a high standard of nursing care
• To ensure effective induction of all staff, together with supervision of trained staff, as well as providing mentorship, assessment and induction of new care staff
• Conform to the latest guidelines and maintain the highest levels of care governance whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures

Skills/ Qualifications:
• Possess NVQ Level 3
• Ability to supervise and lead a team
• Experience working in a residential home
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
