Hours: Full Time, 1 in 3 weekends

As Deputy Manager, you will be highly organised with a passion for providing person-centred care. You will have responsibility for team management and direction of care within the home. You will support the Home Manager in the assessment, planning, implementation of care plans by evaluating residents needs, ensuring a high standard of care service is provided throughout the service. You will also take charge of the Home and its day-to-day operation in the absence of the Manager.
Role Requirements of Deputy Manager:
Support and deputise for the Home Manager in their absence
Assist the delegation of workloads and care resources
Assist with training of new staff
Support the management team
Ensure high care standards are met on a day-to-day basis
Qualification/Skill Requirements of Deputy manager:
Experience in similar care environment ESSENTIAL
Supervisory and leadership skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of CQC standards
Understanding of the needs of the elderly and dementia patients
