Deputy Nurse Manager – £42k per annum

Claire at Amber Mace is currently recruiting for a Deputy Nurse Manager to join the team at a modern elderly nursing home in Worcester.
As Deputy Nurse Manager, you will be involved with the running of the home in the absence of the Home Manager in the general day-to-day running of the Home. You will be a strong authoritative presence while the manager is away and will support the team at a supervisory level. You will have experience working as a senior nurse or above and have a valid NMC PIN.
The Role of Deputy Nurse Manager:
Deputise for the Home Manager in their absence
Delegate workloads and nursing resources
Provide hands on assistance in the home where necessary
Ensure accurate care records are kept and procedures are adhered to in accordance to CQC and company policy
To assist the effective induction of all staff, such as; providing mentorship, training, assessment and induction of new care and nursing staff, together with supervision and ongoing professional development of trained staff
Conform to the latest guidelines and maintain the highest levels of care governance whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures
Skills/ Qualifications required of the Deputy Nurse Manager:
Valid NMC PIN is essential
Strong clinical skills
Ability to supervise and lead a clinical team
Experience working at a supervisory level in a similar environment
