Position: Deputy Manager
Amber Mace are working with a client who are currently looking for a Deputy Manager to join their team in Cheshire. The home is beautifully furnished to create a comfortable family feel and the dedicated and compassionate staff team ensure everyone receives a personalised care plan.
The home offer residential, nursing and dementia care as well as respite care for those aged 55 and up. They provide a wide range of facilities for their residents and have well-kept gardens surrounding the property making it a lovely place to work.
What youll need:
Valid Nursing PIN
Experience of working at a senior level within a nursing home
Experience working in an elderly nursing home
Previous experience of supervising staff
What the role involves:
Support and deputise for the Home Manager in their absence
Assist the delegation of workloads and nursing resources
Ensure accurate care records are kept and incidents/accidents are reported in accordance to the company policy
Promote and maintain a high standard of nursing care
To ensure effective induction of all staff, together with supervision of trained staff, as well as providing mentorship, assessment and induction of new care staff
Conform to the latest guidelines and maintain the highest levels of care governance whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures
Paid NMC PIN renewal, we cover your annual registration fee.
Paid individual membership for the Nursing Times.
