Amber Mace are recruiting on behalf of a privately owned nursing home in the heart of Swansea, dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. As the Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our nursing home. Working closely with the Home Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day activities, promote a culture of excellence, and ensure the well-being of our residents and staff. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents and contribute to the ongoing success of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
-Assist the Home Manager in the overall management and operation of the nursing home.
-Provide leadership and guidance to staff, promoting a positive working environment.
-Ensure the highest standards of care are maintained, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
-Participate in care planning and assessment processes.
-Oversee staff training and development, identifying opportunities for growth.
-Foster a culture of emotional well-being and support for residents and staff.
-Assist in budget management and resource allocation.
-Collaborate with external agencies, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements:
-Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN.
-Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare or nursing home setting.
-Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team.
-Commitment to providing person-centered care.
-Flexible and adaptable, with a problem-solving mindset.
