Job Title: Deputy Manager - Residential Home
Location: Weston-super-Mare
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (dependent upon experience)

Amber Mace are recruiting on behalf of a well-established residential home dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to the residents. Situated in the picturesque town of Weston-super-Mare, they pride themselves on creating a warm, nurturing environment where individuals can thrive. We are now seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team and help lead the way in delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:
-Support the Home Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
-Assist in the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are tailored to individual resident needs and preferences.
-Provide leadership and guidance to the care team, promoting a culture of compassion, dignity, and respect.
-Carry out regular assessments and reviews of residents' care needs, adjusting plans as necessary.
-Monitor and manage medication administration, maintaining accurate records.
-Contribute to staff training and development, fostering a continuous learning environment.
-Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
-Act as a point of contact for residents, families, and external stakeholders, ensuring excellent communication and addressing any concerns promptly.

Requirements:
-NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
-Proven experience in a senior care role within a residential setting.
-Strong understanding of care regulations and legislation.
-Excellent leadership and communication skills.
-Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
-Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
-Commitment to providing person-centered care and promoting residents' well-being.
