A welcoming care home based in Wakefield are looking for a Deputy Manager to assist and oversee in the successful running of this service! This amazing care home which CQC rate good overall is dedicated to providing the highest levels of care, tailored to suit individual needs, ensuring dignity and respect, and allowing residents to enjoy life to the fullest.
With the support of an experienced manager alongside you, you will work in partnership to ensure the day-to-day running of the service is outstanding and that the best level of care is provided at all times to residents.
The role will consist of:
- Been able to lead/ support a team of staff
- To oversee care plans
- Assist with training of new staff
- Support the management team
- Ensure high care standards are met on a day to day basis
- Maintaining the safe custody, administration and storage of medication
- Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
- Building relationships to optimise patient/resident engagement
We need from you:
-Experience working in management roles within healthcare
-Level 3 in leadership and management
