Amber Mace are currently working with a client who is looking for someone such as yourself to join their vibrant and welcoming residential home that offers a cosy and comfortable home to all residents.

With the support of an experienced manager alongside you, you will work in partnership to ensure the day-to-day running of the service is outstanding and that the best level of care is provided at all times to residents.

The Role:
• Support and deputise for the Home Manager in their absence
• Assist the delegation of workloads and nursing resources
• Ensure accurate care records are kept and incidents/accidents are reported in accordance to the company policy
• Promote and maintain a high standard of nursing care
• To ensure effective induction of all staff, together with supervision of trained staff, as well as providing mentorship, assessment and induction of new care staff
• Conform to the latest guidelines and maintain the highest levels of care governance whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures

Skills/ Qualifications:
• Possess NVQ Level 3
• Ability to supervise and lead a team
• Experience working in a residential home
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
