Deputy Manager – Clitheroe- £35k – £40k – 37.5 hours a week

Joel at Amber Mace are currently recruiting for an experienced RMN-qualified manager to join the team at a small, specialist nursing home in Clitheroe. This home offers day care, convalescent care, respite and nursing services for residents with mental health conditions, the home does offer care for younger adults too. This is a specialist nursing home that provides care for adults with ongoing mental health needs and/or complex physical health needs.

The role:
• Deliver high standards of person-centred care and ensuring that the resident’s social, emotional and physical needs are met
• Perform healthcare assessments and develop, implement and evaluate personalised care plans for residents
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and adhere to regulations, standards and legislation
• Advocate resident’s independence and dignity by striving for continuous improvement and consistently delivering the highest standards of care
• Lead, develop and manage the nursing service

Skills/Qualifications:
• Valid NMC PIN – RMN, RNLD
• Good Knowledge of CQC standards
• Proven RMN track record/ experience
• Good understanding of the Mental Health Act
• Good communication & leadership skills
• QCF level 4/5 in management in a care home setting would be advantageous
