Job: Deputy Care Manager
Salary: £30k
Hours: 40 per week
Location: Swindon

Amber Mace are recruiting for a dedicated Deputy Care Manager to join a dyanmic and established provider based in Swindon. This supported living service provides care for adults with autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex care and empowers them to live fulfilling and independent lives within the community.

Your role will include:
-Support the manager to effectively manage a team of staff to deliver person centred, specialist services to those we support.
-Provide clear leadership to support workers in relation to work issues and to offer guidance, support, and training where required/appropriate.
-Ensure you fully understand the principles of the REACH standards (Supported Living services)
-Provide a personalised, responsive and high-quality service to people with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Behaviours of concern, Physical Disabilities, Mental Health, Epilepsy and Complex Needs.
-Deliver services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards
-Create and maintain a safe environment where staff can fulfil their duties, achieve excellence, develop within their role and access the range of organisational opportunities.
-Contribute to the wider planning and delivery of services within the Operational Services
-Work collaboratively with all directorates within the organisation in pursuit of seamless service to those we support and staff

Requirements:
-NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
-Excellent knowledge of the care industry and relevant legislation
-Substantial experience of working with adults with autism, learning disabilities, mental health, epilepsy and complex care conditions
-Previous experience of CQC inspection process would be desirable
-Ongoing commitment to own personal development and training
-Experience of leading, motivating and line managing staff
