Role: Clinical Lead
Salary: £45k
Location: Taunton
Hours: 40 hours over 7 days - 1 day on the floor the rest is supernumerary
Amy at Ambermace is looking for a skilled registered general nurse who is looking for a new challenge as a Clinical Lead at a 34 bedded nursing home based in Taunton.
As Clinical Lead, you will be an authoritative presence in the home when the Manager and Deputy are absent. You will manage and lead a team of dedicated and hardworking nurses and assist them in carrying out the highest standards of care. Role:
• Demonstrate ability to be an active member of the care team
• You will work collaboratively with external representatives to achieve continuity of care and lead the development of nursing practice within the home to achieve the highest standard of physical, social, emotional, psychological and nursing care needs for our Clients
• Promote professional, clinical and administrative arrangements, training and care planning within the Home
• Provide care to a group of Clients in accordance with NMC, code of professional conduct and Company policies and procedures
• Ensure that the home complies with the National Care Standards Act 2000 and meets the requirements of CQC and the Health and Social Care Act 2008
• Monitor the standard of cleanliness within the home, more specifically on your floor, and liaise with hotel services to ensure that any shortcomings are addressed in a timely manner
Requirements:
• RGN active pin
• Skilled in clinical tasks
• Senior nursing experience
• Excellent leadership skills
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of CQC guidelines and standards of care
