Are you a Senior Nurse looking for a step up in responsibility or a Clinical Lead looking for a new challenge than Amber Mace might have the job for you!

We are looking for a clinical lead to join the team and work alongside the manager to assist with the clinical running of the home. The ideal candidate would have experience working in a care home with elderly and dementia patients as well as being able to display a strong personality, initiative and positivity towards the challenges presented.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a RGN/RMN/RNLD who is looking for more responsibility in a home they can put their mark on.

The home itself provides both respite, long term care and general nursing for their residents, some of who have dementia. This home offers homely facilities and pretty gardens whole also providing you with continuous training and development.

This home is looking for a experience clinical lead to take over and develop their nursing team

Key Duties:
• To lead/ support a team of staff
• To oversee care plans
• Assist with training of new staff
• Support the management team
• Ensure high care standards are met on a day to day basis
• Maintaining the safe custody, administration and storage of medication
• Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
• Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient/resident engagement

Qualification/Skill Requirements of Clinical Lead:
• Valid PIN number
• Strong clinical background, ideally in a similar setting
• A commitment to patient-centred care
• Excellent communication skills
• Leadership skills
• Have a clear and thorough knowledge of CQC standards
