Children’s Home Manager – Residential Service-£30K
Macclesfield, Cheshire
Salary – £30K+
9-5pm Hours (Some weekends and evenings may be required, depending on the needs of the service).

Due to the success of this company, a very exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to become a key piece in a brand new children’s service in Macclesfield.
On behalf of a brand new children’s provider, Amber Mace are looking to recruit a qualified Children’s manager for a new 4 bedded children’s home situated near Macclesfield, Cheshire.
My client is opening a brand new children’s service that is based in Macclesfield, that can accommodate up to 3 children.

The Children’s Home Manager will form a strong team of dedicated professionals, leading their home and their teams through the best practice, coaching and support at all levels. They should be dedicated to achieving the very best outcomes for the children and young people within their care.
Our managers form strong links with the local schools and authorities. Our HEAL, tutor-led in-home education programme, and our transitional services providing support post-18, enables us to complete total end-to-end care for some of the most vulnerable children in our society.
The home has been designed to provide a safe, residential home for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
This company keep the children within their care at the heart of everything they do. They are passionate about providing safe and nurturing environments for children who need a little extra care and support.
We are looking for a resilient and motivated registered manager with experience within residential care or children’s services. You will be supporting a small team of care staff and the children within the home.

The right candidate will have:
• Proven experience within a management role of a residential care setting.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children’s and Young People’s workforce or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care/Children and Young People Services.
• Working with young people with challenging behaviours and emotional difficulties.
• Knowledge of the children Act 1989 and Quality Care Standards
• Knowledge of previous and new updated OFSTED Regulations.
