Care Team Leader – Edwinstowe

Location: Edwinstowe
Service: Elderly/Dementia Home
Hours: Between 33 -44 hours weekly (Days only)
Rate: £11.00ph

Are you passionate about care? Are you looking for a new challenge in the health and social care sector? Amber Mace are currently looking for a Team Leader to join the team at a medium sized nursing home in Edwinstowe , paying a fantastic hourly rate of £11.00ph!

This is a nursing and residential care home for the elderly that has a lovely interior design throughout with a CQC overall rating of ‘Good’; this is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate senior care assistant looking to make the next step in their career.

As Team Leader, you will be in charge of the day time supervision of residents and staff. Your duties will centre on providing the highest standards of care to the home’s residents as well as ensuring that their physical, social and emotional needs are met.

Please note, this role is to cover night shifts within the service

Role requirements for the Team Leader:
• Supporting and supervising the team
• Training and development
• Developing therapeutic or beneficial relationships with residents/colleagues
• Delivering high standards of person-centred care
• Attend regular meetings
• Managing and administering Medication
• Support the Home Manager in implementing personalised care plans, and reviewing and monitoring these on a regular basis

Skills/Qualifications for the Team Leader:
• NVQ level 3 or above (essential)
• Experience working in elderly/dementia care
• Excellent communication & organisational skills
